Specialist training booking terms & conditions


To attend one of our specialist training sessions you will need to have paid in full in advance of the training course date and prior to your admittance on the course. If payment is not made at the time of booking, registration will be provisional until full payment is received. Failure to pay for the course may result in you not being able to attend the course.



We know that plans change, but at the same time we make commitments to the facilitators and venues we book. The following terms apply to all training courses booked.


Cancellations must be received in writing via email to contact@lyndenconsulting.com and must contain the full booking details. Include full delegate name and organisation name and contact details.


The following cancellation charges are applicable:

  • Four weeks prior to the start date, no refund on cancellations. 
  • Five to eight weeks prior to the event – 50% refund
  • Eight weeks or more prior to the event – 100% refund 

No refunds or transfers will be given for non-attendance.   


Substitute attendees:

Your place on the course can be used by a substitute attendee from within your organisation at no extra charge, up to 24 hours before the course start date.


Course dates, sessions, venues and postponement:

We reserve the right to alter course dates, venues and/or location where necessary without liability. We will endeavour to give delegates as much advance notice as possible of any such change via the attendee’s email address provided at time of booking. If the delegate is unable to attend at the revised location or date, we will refund 100% of the delegate fee or offer a credit for a future course.


In the event of cancellation a full refund will be offered.


We cannot offer refunds for cancellations due to circumstances outside our control, including adverse weather conditions, transportation issues, major incidents or industrial action. We will not be liable for any other costs incurred including (for example) travel charges or any consequential damages, even if we were advised of these costs.


We reserve the right to change speakers or sessions without prior notification. The most up-to-date changes to the programme will be provided on the day of the course.


Photography and Filming:

There may be a professional photographer and/or video production taking place during the course which may be used at a later date for promotional and other uses. Delegates who do not wish to be filmed or recorded should advise the Organisers by email in good time before the training session, by emailing contact@lyndenconsulting.com



Views expressed by speakers are their own. The Organisers assume no responsibility for the content of presentations or materials provided by speakers and the Organisers cannot give any warranty that the information will be accurate or up-to-date.


Subject to the paragraph below, the Organisers do not accept liability for any error or omission and excludes all liability for any action you may take or loss or injury you may suffer (whether direct or indirect, or any indirect, consequential or special loss) howsoever arising for advice given, or views expressed, by any speaker or in any material provided to delegates or as a result of you relying on the same.


We do not attempt to exclude or restrict liability for death or personal injury caused by the Organiser’s own negligence or any other liability the exclusion and restriction that cannot be excluded or restricted by English Law.


Other terms:

Lynden Consulting Ltd does not accept responsibility for attendees’ personal belongings or valuables, for example, laptops or communications devices brought to courses. These remain the responsibility of the individual attendees.


Lynden Consulting Ltd reserves the right to remove any attendee from their course should their behaviour be deemed inappropriate. In such event, no refund of fees or other costs will be made.
